Issues with One Time Passwords (OTP)

OTP (one-time password) is a secure code that a customer may need to provide to verify and complete payment. OTP helps keep the customer safe from unauthorised transactions.

OTPs for transactions are not issued by Seerbit. Instead, they're issued entirely by the customers' bank. On rare occasions, customers might run into OTP issues such as:

  • OTP sent to the incorrect number
  • OTP arriving late
  • OTP never arriving

When one of these happens, the customer should try to pay one more time. If the issue persists, the customer has to contact their bank to get it resolved.
